M.Sc.(Econ) Tuula Korhonen is a Sales Degree Programme Director in
the Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences. She is responsible for
budget/sales efforts in Sales Programme. She is a board member of the
European Sales Competition Association.
Ms. Korhonen has background in business, mainly in the fields of sales
and retail, and adult education. She has altogether nearly 20 years of
experience in sales, customer and management training/coaching,

conceptualization and management experience. She is also
pedagogically qualified.
Ms Korhonen’s involment in this project is related to concept
development and quality of transfer of European Sales Competition
concept, as well pedagogical issues.

Minna Hiillos

Vice President and Director Business Programs, Dr Minna Hiillos
joined Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences in April 2015. In
2008-2015 she was employed by Aalto University Executive
Education as Associate Dean and Business Area Director of MBA
Programs. Prior to Aalto University, Dr Hiillos worked at HANKEN
Swedish School of Economics at the Department of Management and
Organization in various research and teaching positions during 12
years. She has experience from business life within the areas of
headhunting, sales and personnel development. Dr Hiillos PhD is from
the area of Organizational Behavior. Her publications include journal
articles, book chapters and papers covering the areas HRM,
Organizational Behavior, Emotions in Organizations as well as
Women’s Leadership.

Riku Hytönen

M.Sc. (Econ.) Riku Hytönen is a Senior Lecturer at Haaga-Helia
University of Applied Sciences in the Degree Programme in Sales. He
has a six-year experience in teaching, and prior to Haaga-Helia he was
a Senior Lecturer at Saimaa University of Applied Sciences, where he
taught sales and marketing in the International Business Programme.
Before his teaching career Mr. Hytönen has worked in different
international sales and marketing management positions in medical and
pharmaceutical industry for 20 years. At Serres Oy Mr. Hytönen was
in charge of the company’s hospital business and a member of the
management group. At M-real Oyj he was in charge of the sales and
marketing of a paperboard grade developed and designed for
pharmaceutical packaging. For the both of these companies the
markets were global. At Orion Pharma Mr. Hytönen was in charge of
the sales in Asia Pacific region, and at Planmeca Oy he started the
company’s business in China as well as several Eastern Central
European countries.
Mr. Riku Hytönen has a Master degree in business administration from
Helsinki School of Economics, and he has also completed Teacher’s
Pedagogical Qualification.

Sari Mäkinen

Sari Mäkinen works as Management Assistant / Project Assistant at
Haaga-Helia. She has completed a Bachelor’s Degree at Haaga-Helia
in the Degree Programme for Multilingual Management Assistants.
Ms. Mäkinen has nearly 10 years of work experience in management
assistant positions in international companies.
